History

First National Bank first opened its doors on February 6, 1960 in Jasper, Texas. For eight years, W.L. Neal led the bank through its early growth and the addition of Saturday morning hours. The bank continued to prosper and in August 1991, the bank opened a Tyler County branch in Woodville, Texas. In August of 2017 the bank opened another branch in Buna, Texas.

Over its 50+ year history, while the First National Bank has steadfastly continued to value and deliver the quality personal service upon which the bank was founded.

Today, we continue to prioritize giving back to the Jasper, Woodville, and Buna communities through contributions to many local charities and civic groups.

FNB appreciates the opportunity to work with our community members as together we strive for both individual and community success.
